Weeks 8, 9, 10... reflections.

Hi guys,

I'll be squashing in weeks 8, 9, and 10's reflections into one blog, saving me time to write on the three weeks and saves you time in reading three separate blogs. Look at it as a 3 in 1 blog... =)

Anyways,

Week 8 and back at uni from the Easter break as well as our two week mid semester break and everything was looking fine. Having returned back to computer labs on Thursday, I continued searching for more of linguistic rules based around the Pacific Islanders and so forth.

I knew that it was going to be hard looking for resources but I went ahead and did it. It wasn't long till I got fed up while looking for it so I went home and started to search on my computer there.

Week 8 had passed and week 9 was approaching. Growing more frustrated while I was searching on articles or for any sources on the Pacific. At the time I decided to scratch what I was doing and start anew. So I thought some more...

Knowing that I am going to go to the police force soon and selecting criminology as my minor, I decided to research on taser guns in NZ and around the world (but, especially on NZ and taser guns). How it will be effective for catching violent criminals and how it will effect the economy. It's something that I find interesting. I have heard without research, that there are some negatives as well as positives to having tasers in the country. But my research begins ...

During week 10, I managed to transfer my work from Mahara onto blogger and so everything that I will be doing is in this site, making things easier for me as well as others to access. I know that I will be speaking for others as well when I say that, Mahara is too confusing (even with the basics). But life is tough when you make it tough, so lets keep things simple ;)

I will post the URL for the portfolio...

-annie =)
